Maria Slavin, MS, OTR/L
Founder and President, Clinical Director
Maria has over 15 years of experience working with
children in educational and therapeutic settings. She received her Associate
of Science degree from Harcum College in Occupational Therapy. She also holds
a Masters degree from Misericordia University in Occupational Therapy and was
the director of the Collage social group program, the predecessor to In-Sync
and Social.
Maria uses her training and experience to work with families with children
with developmental and behavioral issues. Her passion is to help children
build meaningful relationships and communication skills through play, and to
help each parent create an environment in which their child will thrive and
reach their highest developmental potential.
Erin Flynn, MOT, OTR/L
Assistant Clinical Director and Lead Therapist
Erin is a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of
Pennsylvania. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Youngstown State University
and a Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Temple University. Erin has worked as a pediatric
occupational therapist for nine years in a variety of environments, including public and private
schools, social skills clinics, and outpatient settings. She also provides private consultation
with local schools and practitioners. She has a special interest in social skills for youth and
adults, and job skill training for transition age youth. She has received continuing education in
Handwriting without Tears, social thinking, visual perception, sensory integration, and social
emotional learning.
Allison Amole, MS, OTR/L
Allison is an Occupational Therapist who started with
In-Sync and Social in June of 2015. She has a B.A. in Elementary Education from Merion Mercy Academy, and an
M.S. in Occupational Therapy from the University of Scranton. Allision leads classes in Lego building,
where she enjoys helping children learn and grow through occupational skills that
they enjoy. She has experience working with children in individual, clinical, and
educational settings. Her passion is to see children learn and advance in their
socialization abilities through sensory normalization, play, games, and practice
in real life social settings.
Carolyn Landman, OTR/L
Carolyn has been a leader with In-Sync since August of 2015.
She graduated from West Chester University in 2010 with her B.S. in Occupational Therapy. Carolyn enjoys
working with children of all ages, and pursues opportunities to employ strategies and
techniques which are geared toward each individual’s needs. She has additional
training in ABA and DIR Floor time which helps her find appropriate strategies to meet
those individual needs.
